Through the draft resolution presented at the Kosovo Assembly plenary session on Friday, the LDK urges the executive to temporarily reduce excise and oil VAT.
The resolution was introduced by LDK Parliamentary Group chief Jehona Lushak-Sadriu.
She said the draft resolution has the backing of two opposition parliamentary groups.
“Chong requires Government: The temporary reduction of the excise from 36 cents to litre, to 20 cents per litre in temporary terms, until the stabilisation of prices on the International Stock Exchange”, she introduced the draft resolution.
Project point 2 requires the government to make decisions on reducing VAT in oil from 18% to 8% to price stabilisation.
Also, the resolution calls on the government to find <x0).
