Referring to the intervention of Minister Gervalla in the address of MP Haradinaj, Kryeziu has said these actions conflict with parliamentary regulations and standards.
According to Kryeziu, intervention during the speech is a direct violation of the MP's right to speak and deviation from the principle of separation of powers.
“The Assembly is not a bargain where anyone intervenes, prevents or labels the MP during the word ʹ, much less those who are not MPs. The right to the MP's word is guaranteed and any intervention of ministers is limited, procedural and directly related to the issue in question. Interventions outside these norms, such as the Donika Gervala case against MP Ramush Haradinaj, conflict with parliamentary regulations and standards. It is direct violation of the MP's right to speak and deviation from the principle of power sharing. The Assembly chooses and oversees the government, not the opposite. Preservation and guaranteeing the MP's word remains the fundamental condition for a parliament with functional democracy”, said his Facebook response.
