The distribution of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament according to the UN has avoided a further escalation of the constitutional crisis, but the country is already facing a pronounced economic uncertainty, with direct consequences for businesses and citizens.
“In the absence of functional institutions, Kosovo's economy remains without clear development orientation, jeopardising, blocking economic decision-making, hesitation of local and foreign investors, delaying capital and EU projects, and increasing uncertainty in the Kosovo market”.
The Kosovo Business Alliance stresses that the economy cannot remain hostage to political developments. Any delay in restoring institutional functionality is directly costing the private sector.
In this direction, the GDP requires:
1. Free, Democratic Elections' Statement as Quicker
2. Respecting Constitutional and Legal Terms
3. Creation Without Delay of New Institutions After Elections
4. Let the political craziness go away if I'm not the State. According to the GDP, only through stable and legitimate institutions can business confidence be restored, sustainable economic development and prevent the deepening of the crisis. Kosovo has no time for loss. Every day without functional institutions, it's one day less development”.
