The airline did not elaborate, but Economic Times reported that one of the engines was involved in the flames as the plane accelerated onto a track and that passengers were injured during an emergency evacuation.
“Pak after 1: 00 a.m. local time on April 26, a problem occurred with one of the engines when the LX147 flight to Delhi. The crew stopped setting up and, after praising the situation, decided as a precautionary measure to evacuate plane”, Swiss International said in a statement, foreign media wrote, Telegrafi quoted.

On board the plane, which was an Airbus A330, were 228 passengers, four babies, and 13 crew members.
