The US plans to deploy the Dark Eagle missiles for attacks against targets deep inside Iran. The range of action of the new hypersonic weapon exceeds 2,700 kilometers.
The US Central Command has called for the deployment of hypersonic Dark Eagle missiles in the Middle East for possible use against Iran, demanding a longer-range system of action to hit ballistic missile launchers deep inside the country, Bloomberg reports.

The demand for deployment and justifys the move by declaring Iran has shifted its launchers beyond the possibility of precise missiles capable of hitting targets over 483km apart, according to a source directly recognised at demand, Telegrafi broadcasts.
A decision on the request has not been made yet, the source added. A ceasefire between the US and Iran has been in force since April 9th, but the request suggests the US are preparing for new attacks if US President Donald Trump decides to continue.

Both sides have used this time to re-armed and planned, said Becca Vasser, the defence analysis director at Bloomberg Economics, noting that the next “trands of hostilities could be more deadly”.
Dark Eagle, also known as the Long-Ring Himpersonic Arm (LRHW), has a reported range of action of more than 2,776km, though its precise specifications are classified.

It is designed to slide toward a target at more than five times the speed of sound and can maneuver to avoid interception. /Telegraphy/
