Kosovo's National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK) has announced that all confirmed cases are children unaccompanied with the MMR vaccine (against measles, shytes and rubella).
IK The KPS has stressed that affected children are receiving hospital treatment, testifying to the serious potential of possible complications that can cause measles.
This institution has called on parents to check their children's vaccination card and vaccinate children at the nearest family medicine center in the respective municipality.
“is also recommended to avoid unnecessary contact with people who display symptoms, such as high fever, frying, changes in skin, cough, or shaving. Every person with suspicious marks on fruit, should appear immediately in health institutions”, the IKSHPK report said.
The institute recalls that the vaccine remains the most effective and safer way to prevent measles and protect public health.
Any delay in the vaccine increases the risk of further spreading and serious complications, especially in children and persons with weakened immunity”, the IKSHPK report said. /Periscope
