Given the official announcement, the purpose of this headquarters is to ensure the immediate protection of patients, health staff, visitors and citizens, through inter-institute co-ordination and the implementation of urgent measures for identification, control, evacuation and preventing danger from stray dogs.
“Emergency Department consists of representatives of KKUK's internal structures, including institutional leaders, representatives from Emergency Clinic, Legal Office, as well as Security Service and Firemen. The mechanism includes relevant institutions outside KKUK, such as the Pristina municipality, the Food and Veterinary Agency (AUV), Kosovo Police, the contracting company for treatment of stray dogs, municipal Inspectorate, as well as licensed animal protection organisations”, the report said.
