According to the official announcement, the case occurred during Wednesday day on the “YII Morina” road.

On April 29, 2026, through the official channels of the Kosovo Police, information has been accepted about a theft on the “Yll Morina” street in Gjakova. The patrol units have responded to the call immediately, but the suspect (male, middle-aged) had left the scene. However, the report reportedly thanks to rapid reaction and operational investigative work, after a short time, the suspect was managed to be detained at another location in the city.

During the raid, police have located and seized the means allegedly used to commit criminal acts, along with stolen monetary means.

Suspect B. K., who is suspected to be involved in several other cases of theft, has been interviewed by investigative sector officials and in co-ordination with the state prosecutor, the case “heavy recovery” has been initiated against him and the same has been submitted to hold for 48 hours. /Periscope
