Albania's President Bajram Begaj commemorated today through a post on the 17th anniversary of Albania's NATO membership as a historic achievement that has strengthened its security, sovereignty and role in the Euro-Atlantic alliance.
The head of state praised Albania's contribution as a worthy ally in the service of international peace and security, stressing the country's continued commitment to Alliance missions and operations.
In this context, President Begaj expressed pride in the dedication and professionalism of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, which have dignifiedly contributed side by side to allies everywhere and where their contribution has been sought.
The president stressed that Albania remains steadfast in its commitment to being a factor of stability and security and that its allies will continue to contribute to peace, stability and the building of a safer future for all.
