US President Donald Trump said today that US forces will hit Iranian targets “very strongly” in the coming days signalling an intensifying of the US-Israel campaign as the fight with Iran approaches the third week.
Washington and his ally launched the offensive on February 28th with attacks killing Iran's Ajothallah Ali Khamene, triggering an expanding war in the region that has shaken global energy markets and withdrew missile attacks and Iranian fears across the Gulf.

Earlier Friday, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said Washington and Israel had already hit more than 15,000 targets since the launch of an air campaign against Iran on 28 February.
“Misis our air and Israeli forces, have been hit over 15,000 enemy targets. This is over 1,000 per day”, Hegseth told reporters, adding that Friday it will have the highest volume of attacks so far.
