Communists being crippled by collective contracts this year
During just the first three months of this year, tens of millions of euros have been seized from municipal budgets, putting them in an extremely difficult financial situation.
At the same time, the indictments of municipalities filed since 2021 continue to remain blocked at the Commercial Court. This institutional silence by both the Government and the court is producing serious consequences for local finances and for citizens.
The situation becomes even more alarming when it is known that about 27% of the funds spent on collective contracts go towards judicial and final procedures instead of directly benefiting employees. This must be stopped.
As a result, even this year, most municipal projects risk failure, as budgets are being diverted and diverted for coverage of obligations not created by municipalities themselves, directly damaging local development and citizens' services.
This is no longer just a financial issue, but a matter of justice and the functioning of the rule of law.
The municipalities are urgently looking for:
• for government to assume financial responsibility;
• and for the Commercial Court to address without delay the indictments filed since 2021.
Because silence is not a solution, it is only deepening injustice
