Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, who took office after his father's murder, Ayatallah Ali Khamenei on February 28th, was learned with urgency sent to Moscow for an immediate operation on foot after being wounded.
According to the Daily Mail, Mojataba Khamenei was reported in a coma at the Sina University Hospital in Tehran following an air strike by Americans and Israelis, who targeted Iran's leadership.
His injuries forced transportation to Russia for an operation that, according to the newspaper, was personally offered by Vladimir Putin.
The Al-Jarida Agency reports that the operation to evacuate the new Ajatothola was planned to be classified and involved transporting it on a Russian military plane, Panorama has broadcast.
Later, he was sent to one of Putin's presidential palaces, where he underwent an operation that resulted successfully.
The news has not yet been confirmed officially, but Al-Jarida claims its information comes from a high source near the new senior Iranian leader.
