Recica: Ferizaj's hospital was not delayed by accident, held hostage for 6 years by angry government

Elmi Recica has reacted to delays in building Ferizaj's Regional Hospital, stressing that the project did not creep by chance, but as a result of a government that, according to him, placed political interests on citizens' health, writes Periscopi. “Ferizaj's regional hospital was not delayed by chance, he was held hostage for years [...]
“Ferizaj's regional hospital was not delayed by chance, he was held hostage for years by an angry and irresponsible government that put political interests on the lives and health of citizens...” wrote Recica.
He has stressed that for Ferizan, Development, Shtrpce, Kacanik, Elez Khan, as well as for a considerable part of the year and Lipjan, the lack of this hospital is not statistical, but a direct consequence of the misgovernance that has chosen to block rather than build.
Recica has stated it is about over 250 thousand citizens who have remained without adequate health services and that for years the project has remained frozen for no real reason, adding that thousands of citizens have been forced to face lack of basic health services.
He has made it known that for six consecutive years he has drawn attention to this project, raising the issue constantly and taking action to continue construction, but according to him, these efforts have been ignored.
Yeah. TYPE:
Ferizaj's regional hospital was not delayed by chance, it was held hostage for years by an angry and irresponsible government that established political interests on the lives and health of citizens. For Ferizan, Development, Shtrpce, Kacanika, Elez Khan, and for a considerable part of the municipality of the Year and Lipjan, the lack of this hospital is not statistical, but the direct consequence of a misgovernance that has chosen to block rather than build. It's over 250 thousand citizens left without adequate health services. For years, the Kurti Government left this project frozen, for no real reason, proving that when it comes to citizens, their health is not their priority, but political calculations and institutional resentment. Meanwhile, thousands of citizens were forced to face lack of basic health services, paying the price of this responsibility.
For six years I've been calling attention to this vital project. I've raised the issue constantly, asked parliamentary questions and took different actions to push ahead of the continued construction of the hospital. However, in the face of a blocking approach, these efforts were ignored. With the PDK's rule, Ferizaj's Regional Hospital would have been released to office since June 15th 2021. Today, when the work has finally begun, there is no reason for self - praise. This is a silent admission that the delay was unwarranted. It is evidence that there were no real obstacles, only lack of will, lack of responsibility and a retaliatory approach to projects that did not serve their political interests.
