Periscopi has learned the new names proposed for members of the CEC.
Although according to the Constitution belongs to only two seats in the CEC, Prime Minister Albin Kurti's party, the Vetevendosje Movement, has handed three different names to Osmani for members of the institution.
According to sources from the Vetevendosje (LVV) Movement, Alban Krasniqi, Violet Salihu and Nyazi Isaac épa Isaac are the names proposed by this party for the new composition of the CEC.
The country's second Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has nominated two names for representatives in the CEC. From the PDK, they have indicated that Rashit Qalaj and Ilir Gashi are their proposals.
The other two parties -- the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) -- have proposed the same names, from the previous mandate: Sami Hamiti and Muharrem Nitay.
According to the Kosovo Constitution, the composition of the CEC should have 11 members, 6 of whom represent Albanian parliamentary groups and 4 members from the community ranks. The CEC chairman should come from the ranks of the judicial system.
Under the general election law, President Osmani has a 5-day term, until early next week, to approve these proposals or not. /Periscope
