Kosovo family saved, which was blocked by snow at Kosovo-Montenegro border

According to the announcement, the Kosovo family of three children had remained in the middle of the snow storm for several hours, while rescue technicians have made their health assessment and have subsequently realised their evacuation to the safe zone at the Tower Border Point.

In addition, assistance has been offered to other people trapped in the area.

Also evacuated was a truck driver who was stuck in the same location and his health condition deteriorated. Given the announcement, he has been sent towards the border with Montenegro and handed over to the Montenegrin authorities.

This operation has been carried out in close co-operation with the Kosovo Police and Pec Firemen.
