Musliu and three others died as a result of the collapse of part of the construction at a construction site in Vienna's AlsergRund district. They were trapped in the rubble.
Musliu's death and two other Kosovo citizens -- Pajtim Bajrami and Istref Zekaj -- confirmed Wednesday the Kosovo Embassy in Austria.
Musliu had emigrated to post-war Austria, according to Bektas, director of an elementary school in Prizren, a former war colleague with the victim.
Bektash said he was saddened by the news of Musliu's death, his former colleague in the Kosovo Protection Corps.
“Treaster news of the life of a fellow fighter, Sergeant of the Gardist Battalion near Z2M of the Kosovo Protection Corps: Aslan Musliu, whom I knew closely”, wrote on Wednesday.
It was part of Operation No. 2 tactical direction during the last war in Kosovo, Bektas said. I remember the day he left his uniform and took his way into exile... was an emotional separation...”
My fellow fighter” concluded Bektas his message.
