KFOR for the training of Serbian soldiers on the border with Kosovo: No threat, no planning.

According to them, this activity developed within Serbian territory and poses no threat to security or stability in the region.
NATO-led “KFOR continues to monitor the situation closely along the Administrative Border Line and throughout Kosovo, maintaining continued communication and effective co-ordination with local security authorities and the Chief of Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces”, is highlighted in KFOR's response.
Earlier, Gjilan municipality chairman Alban Hyseni said military exercises conducted near the border with the Republic of Kosovo, in the vicinity of Gjilan, are disturbing and provocative for citizens.
In a Facebook response, he has said that the presence of military forces, air vehicles and such activities in residential areas creates feelings of uncertainty and unnecessary tension, directly affecting the everyday lives of citizens.
“As the head of the Gjilan municipality, expresses my deep concern for these developments and asks relevant local and international institutions to monitor the situation carefully and take concrete action to ensure security and stability in the region”, Hyseni wrote on Facebook.
