According to the announcement, these exercises are aimed at boosting interoperability and readiness of units, ensuring that they are prepared to react at any time required. Through such activities, KFOR personnel maintain high level of situation awareness on the ground.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate, which stems from Resolution 1244, aimed at ensuring a secure environment for all citizens and freedom of movement throughout the territory. In meeting this mission, KFOR co-operates closely with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, according to their respective roles as security responseors”.
