Iraq's gas imports have been halted following attacks on Iranian gas facilities, the Iraqi Energy Ministry says in a report published in Iraqi media, the BBC reported, broadcast the Express newspaper.
Iraq currently imports more than a third of its gas and energy needs from Iran, according to Reuters news agency.
Energy Ministry spokesman Ahmed Moussa told the Iraqi News Agency: “as a result of the consequences of developments in the region, Iranian gas flows to Iraq were fully halted. ”
