Chairman Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted to the political situation in the country, saying Kosovo It is in a serious economic, political and security situation.
In a public response, Haradinaj has stressed that the country is facing an institutional blockade, citing the past constitutional deadline for electing the president and suspending the work of Parliament.
“Today our country has degraded into a heavily and highly complicated economic, political and security situation. With the constitutional deadline for electing the new president and suspended parliament. With the elections over, but with unprecedented and unprecedented institutional cramps”, he wrote.
According to Haradinaj, this situation has been created because, as he says, political actors have failed to overcome personal and party interests to find solutions for the country.
This totally abnormal and to the detriment of the state and of each of you has been created because those who should have resolved this situation did not get over themselves, but were content with the personal interests of the party”, he stressed.
Haradinaj has called for political and social union to restore institutional normality and to direct the country towards development and Euro-Atlantic integration.
This is also my appeal to all those who have Kosovo in mind and heart... to overcome themselves and jointly move this country towards normality, towards development, towards NATO and the EU”, he wrote.
He has added that Kosovo must move towards economic development, strengthening institutions and improving education and health systems so that citizens can live with dignity and not be forced out of the country.

Honored citizens of Kosovo,
Today our country has degraded into a heavily and highly complicated economic, political and security situation.

This completely abnormal situation and at the expense of the state and of each of you has been created because those who would have to deal with this situation did not get over themselves, but were content with personal and party interests.
As a place and as a society, we're in the last few meters to get back to normal.
We are at the great crossroads of a union of all who today are able to overcome themselves for the common good.
Kosovo has always had people who have been able to position themselves directly in difficult times;
Who had the courage to fight but also to create peace;
People who have melted knowledge, wealth, and life for this land.
Which have stood and had vision that at the most crucial moments fall behind the allies in charge with America;
Who know how friends are created, how enemies are fought;
Who knew how to make the State, but also to create his army;
That they may restore the corks of their land, and the riches of their land:
By our supervised independence, we become completely independent, realizing our rights one by one...
All of this is a solid foundation for us to look ahead and not look guilty, but to get past ourselves and to stick to common good.
The Alliance and I are more aware than ever that a lot of jobs are left unworked:
For elections to produce institutions and blockades to go through history;
For people in this country to live dignifiedly with salaries, pensions and aid given to the state and not seeking shelter in the world;
To finally create a modern school system that educates and a health system that cures;
To eliminate the distance between power and citizen, and this one is sovereign of decision-making and not force four times within the year to go to the polls;
State and power be his...
This is also my appeal to all those who have Kosovo in mind and heart, in body and soul, to overcome themselves and jointly move this country towards normality, towards development, towards NATO and the EU.
Take Kosovo where it belongs, among developed and democratic countries, to make it part of the family of Western democracies.
