“GLPS welcomes confirmation by the European Commission for the removal of all EU measures on Kosovo. This moment represents an important step in halting the negative impact these measures have caused on the European aspirations of Kosovo citizens. As we noted in the Open Letter of October 2025, as civil society organisations we had estimated all conditions had been met for the EU to begin the complete and final removal of these measures. The confirmation of the complete removal of these measures provides new optimism for our European path and reflects the unification of all member states around the common good of the EU and Kosovo”, the GLPS script said.
