This accident occurred during the preliminary round of judgment, while the winner will be announced Saturday and will represent Thailand at “Miss Grand 2026” in India.
The incident comes at a time when the contest has also been under surveillance of other controversy. During a previous episode, vice president for Asia and Oceania at Miss Universe Organisation, Nawat Itsaragrisil, publicly criticised contestant Melisa Flores Bosch for missing a sponsor's shoot.
Bosci rejected the comments, declaring: “I have voice” and accusing the official of disrespecting women.
