During his testimony, he also spoke of the day of his arrest.
I saw that Kosovo police were at the neighbor Susan. I approached and asked if I could go to Zvecan. One of the policemen asked me who I was and where we were. He said I could continue on the road. About 40m from home, the police stopped me and requested identification. Another policeman asked me if I had my phone with me; I said yes and gave it to him. When they saw the footage of the shootings, I said he was at the building behind us and they told me not to use it.
And afterward I entered into the car; I was not bound, neither was I bound. I thought I was being sent to Banjska. I asked what was happening and was told that we were going to South Mitrovica. When we arrived, they asked me again about the phone and told me to wait for the car. I didn't have any handcuffs. After a while I entered the police building, where I waited a few hours, and I was given the right to read a letter and was told that the lawyer was coming. They never explained why.”
His testimony follows, while the court examines the circumstances of arrest and charges related to the incident in Banjska.
