From Osman's cabinet, it is said to have received more proposals from parliamentary groups than it envisions the Constitution, so it has taken such a step.
“President Osmani is addressing the Constitutional Court on this issue. As soon as I get the answer, it's coming by name. More proposals have been made under current circumstances by parliamentary groups than predicted by the Constitution, so the Court must clarify this case before it can be taken away from”, it says in response.
This month Osmani has called on political parties to submit their proposals to the Presidencys within legal deadlines for the new composition of the CEC
Under the law, the president asks parliamentary subjects for nominations to members of the CEC following the Assembly Certificate. Meanwhile, parties have a deadline to submit their proposals.
As newspaper Express finds out, The PDK, like the second-largest party in Parliament, has been asked to propose the two members, while given only one.
On this subject, The PDK has warned the media conference from 2:00.
Article 139 of the Constitution says: Six (6) members are appointed by members of the six largest parliamentary groups represented in the Assembly, which have no right to participate in the division of reserved seats. If fewer groups, larger groups or groups, are represented in the country to appoint additional members. A (1) member is appointed by Parliament deputies who hold reserved or guaranteed seats for the Serb community of Kosovo, and three (3) members from the Parliament deputies, who keep seats reserved or guaranteed for other communities that are not majority in Kosovo.
