Amazing: Albanian Drena Kusari named at one of the highest positions in Microsoft

Through a post on the LinkedIn network, she announced that she officially started working as Corporat Vice President and General Manager in this company.

This position is considered among the highest management levels in the company's structure, placing Kussar among the top directors of one of the world's largest technology companies.

Its appointment represents another success story for Albanian women in the global technology industry.

With a career built in the ecosystem of Silicon Valley and large international companies, Kusari is among the Albanian figures who have reached high levels of leadership in the global innovation and technology sector.

Kusari was born and raised in Gjakova, Kosovo.

After the war in Kosovo, she moved to the United States in 1999, where she ended last year of high school. Her first job was as a performer and field worker for the Save the Children soon after the war.

Graduated by two directions, Economics and Diplomacy at Occithal College in the United States.

He's got the MBA from Harvard Business School, one of the most prestigious business schools in the world.

Before reaching Microsoft, she had a career in several major global companies, both in Goldman Sachs as financial analyst, McKinsey & Company as strategy consultant for Fortune 500 companies, then in Lyft where General Manager was for the Southwest region and Hawaii, being the first woman to run this region in the company, as well as in Bumble, where she had a leading role for business strategies and development.
