Convinced that the suspects had just amassed drugs, the Carabinieri followed them and stopped them near the payment point of the Orte Highway in the Viterboro area while traveling along the E45 Highway to Romegna.
A search of vehicles and persons in it found 2.5kg of cocaine, over 4,000 euros in cash and three mobile phones. All the material was seized, including the car.
The two men arrested were transferred to the prison in Viterboro. The judge of the Warzo court later confirmed the arrests, ordering detention for one of two individuals. /Periscopi
