State Minister and Chief negotiator Majlinda Dukka has declared during the meeting that Albania has so far received 101 conditions for closing negotiations with the EU, writes Top Channel.
Dukka added that in 2026, up to 16 chapters are scheduled for the European Union membership process.
“Albania has so far received EU support, but by 2027, even until the end of the decade there is much work to be done. Albania has received the European Commission's positive assessment. The assessment of member states is also patiently expected from Albania, and we are willing to meet the specific requirements that may come from member states”.
“render 92 strategic action points. Albania has been given the conditions for closing negotiations on 31 out of 33 EU chapters. So far Albania has received 101 conditions for closing the negotiations, as it has closed the 24 intermediate conditions. We predict or have great ambition, so that within 2026 we can be technically ready with terms of 12-16 chapters, and within 2027 with the remaining chapters, roughly sharing the weight of jobs”, she said. /Periscope
