Over 800 fines within two weeks in Ferizaj region

Kosovo police have announced that they have imposed 814 traffic fines within two weeks in the Ferizaj region, for exceeding speed. The police have also added that this activity has been realised under campaign “Speed isn't a skill, it's a risk”. Ferizaj Regional Police, during the period 0150.03.26, have imposed a total of eight hundred and fourteen (14) fines on drivers who have been caught moving rapidly over norms and restrictions permitted.
This activity is implemented in the framework of the “campaign Speed is not a skill, it's a risk”, developed from 16,02,2026 to 28,02.2026, by motto:
Do not measure life by mile per hour. ”
Appeal to drivers:
Unsuitable speed directly endangers the life of the driver and all participants in communications. Respect speed restrictions and adapt to road conditions, for a moment of carelessness can have human consequences.
Controls will continue over the next few days, aimed at increasing traffic safety and preventing road accidents.
