In response, the ministry says no child should experience violence, fear or neglect in the country that should be most secure for him, in the family. “Vision against children is unacceptable and will not be tolerated”.
Otherwise, the response suggests that by the moment of the announcement, responsible institutions have taken the necessary actions to protect children.
“Social Work Centre in Lipjan, in co-ordination with the Department of Social Services at the ministry, in accordance with their legal mandates, have immediately intervened and the 6 other children of this family are placed in shelter and in protection at a safe place”, the report said.
Among other things, the ministry stresses that it has requested that the Inspectorate for Social and Family Services urgently begin institutional investigation into the treatment of this case from the Centre for Social Affairs in Lipjan, in order to verify whether all legal obligations and child protection procedures have been implemented, and prevention opportunities.
“MPFVLC will maintain continued communication with the Centre for Social Work and other relevant institutions to ensure the protection and welfare of children”.
