In its decision, Bowser says it is as a result of the major progress Kosovo has marked for law protection, human rights and international strengthening since 2008.
The Kosovo Embassy there has thanked it through a response to “X”.
“Thank you for formally recognising February 17th as Kosovo Independence Day in Washington, D. C.”, says the embassy's response.
