The meeting is scheduled to take place at the American Peace Institute, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet Trump at the White House the previous day, February 18th. The US administration has not commented, Reuters reports.
Trump launched the Peace Board in late January, presenting it as a mechanism for resolving global conflicts, which has raised concerns that it could undermine the role of the UN. Several US allies in the Middle East have joined, but many Western states have hesitated.
A UN Security Council resolution adopted in November authorised the establishment of a Stabilisation Force in Gaza, where a fragile ceasefire is in force from October. Human rights experts have criticised the Board for lack of Palestinian representation and for similarities with colonial structures.
