Thaci: I wasn't making plans to take control of Kosovo, Milosevic made morbides plans for genocide in Kosovo

Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has launched the closing speech before the court in The Hague, claiming he is completely innocent.

At the beginning of his speech, he congratulated Albanian citizens on the anniversary of Kosovo's declaration of Independence, before addressing the charges against him.

Thaci recalled that early in 1998 he was a student in Cyril and, according to him, there were no plans for taking control of Kosovo.

Thaci stressed that the decision to return to Kosovo was motivated by the desire to contribute to the country's freedom.

According to Thaci, his only opponent and The KLA was the Milosevic regime.
