In his interview, Tashloi has voiced concerns about the Special Court's political premises, stressing that public pressure is essential to a liberal democracy and the impact on it should be in that very form.
I have doubts and fears for the Special Court political premises. Public pressure is very important in a liberal democracy, so protests must serve to prevent it from crossing its borders. Citizen voice is more valuable than any institution that tries to violate dignity. This court, I think, offends our intelligence”, he stated.
He added that the February 17th protest would be a form of civic will expression, while he warned a record of protesters.
The February 17th project will be a kind of referendum to decide whether we want to return deliverers to our country and stop injustice, or let it continue. If they're calling our name, we have to give them answers. I believe this protest will bring together about 200 thousand people and will be the largest our country has ever seen”, Tasholli stressed.
