Citizens, students, politicians, unions and various organisations have come out in support of this march.

 

 

Representatives of the platform “Freedom has the name” every day are receiving support for this organisation, which will be a solidification for former KLA leaders being tried at The Hague.

In the last 24 hours alone, several Kosovo mayors and trade unions have voiced themselves.

 

 

The United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) has come to support the civic march “Justice, not politics!”, which will be held on February 17th on Independence Day in Pristina.

After consultations with union structures, SBASK's leadership has called for civic and union mobilization in support of the civic march “Justice, not politics!”

 

 

In its announcement, the SBASK stresses that this issue has special union and historical weight, as many of the KLA's deliverers were at the same time educators and education workers

Doing so is not a political act, but a moral and civic act. It is an expression of our collective conscience and the continuation of the union mission to protect human dignity and truth”, it is said in the SBASK report.

Also, during Friday day some mayors have called on their citizens to join this march.

One of them is the mayor of the Scytheak municipality, Sami Lushtaku.

 

 

On February 17th, on the day of Kosovo's declaration of independence, we all have a common meeting: “Square Skenderbeu”, Pristina. 2:00. Join the March “Justice, non-political”, in defense of the values and glory of the Kosovo Liberation Army, for men who sacrificed everything for our freedom, for the founders of Kosovo's freedom and independence. This is a call for our dignity, for the truth of our latest history!”, wrote Lushtaku on his Facebook account.

So did the head of the Rahovec municipality, Smajl Latifi.

 

 

In his account in “Facebook”, he wrote that this march is in honour of blood shed for freedom.

Dear fellow countrymen, February 17, on Independence Day, let's join the population march in “Square. Skenderbeu” in Pristina at 2: 00 p.m., by motto: “D SERVANT NO POLITIC!” This march is an honour for the shed blood of the martyrs of the nation who fell for Kosovo freedom. It is a clear stand in defense of the KLA leaders and the sacred values of our liberation war, on which Kosovo was built free and independent. Let us testify that Kosovo, which was born from the right war, does not forget its history and does not violate the truth. I appeal to you all indiscriminately to join us!

 

 

The “Justice march, not politics” is supported by other municipalities, including those governed by the VV and LDK.

Various student organizations have also emerged in support of the march.

The “Freedom platform has the name”, which is the host of this march, has thanked all supporters of this event.
