Pristina municipality deputy head Florian Dashi has reacted with a critical analysis of the political and institutional situation in the country, a day before the 18th anniversary of independence Kosovo, stressing that the state is entering this important date without party atmosphere, but under “the approach of heavy political, institutional and social dilemmas”.
According to him, the country is being governed by a majority that is “formally consolidated but not politically”, while charging that the promised results have not been produced in recent years.
Dushi estimates that the gap between citizens' expectations and reality remains deep, especially in economic development, strengthening institutions and social well-being.
The shower mentioned the process in Special Court in The Hague, for which he expresses concern that the way judicial processes develop can have consequences not only of law enforcement but also of history and morals, thus jeopardising the relativisation of liberation war and the foundations of citizenship.
