Under the separate operational plan, Independence Day activities will take place from 16,02.26 to February 17th, in line with the state agenda.
The main events include the parade of the Kosovo Security Force and the Kosovo Police.
Key goals of operational police planning:
Maintaining order and public calm as well as law enforcement;
Enhancing security measures for ensuring order and public security;
Offering security added money, long and after official activities;
Increasing the level of police responsibility in monitoring and response, in line with developments on the ground.
Temporary traffic cuts in Pristina
Based on the state agenda and prepass organisation, there will be temporary disruptions in several segments of Pristina's road, namely: The <x0 street... Luan Haradinaj”, “Novakoviq” Street, “Tirana” segment on railway (a lane to return)
“Robert Doll” (one lane for parking KP and KSF trucks)
Police appeal to citizens and traffic participants to avoid such routes during time of activity and take alternative routes
