Police chiefs are expected at Bondsteel, KFOR details: Discussion focused on the importance of operational security

KFOR has indicated that, at the meeting, the chiefs of Kosovo Police and public relations officials at Camp Bondsteel have waited.

As KFOR suggests, the discussion is focused on media-reading, the importance of operational security, as well as on basic photography and videographies applicable to the daily tasks of participants.

Also reportedly, both sides discussed joint practices and expressed interest in future commitments to stay

Regional Command '%s', Department of Relations with the US Public, in co-ordination with the Kosovo Police Interconnector, hosted the Kosovo Police Chiefs and Public Relations Officials at Camp Bondsteel for a professional development commitment.

The engagement focused on media-reading, the importance of operational security, as well as on the basic photos and videographies applicable in the participants' daily tasks. The two sides discussed joint practices and expressed interest in future commitments to build on shared knowledge.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and sustainable environment for all people living in Kosovo, as well as freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission to Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders.
