Through an announcement, The PDK said former KLA leaders spoke responsibly, with respect for the process and with confidence in justice, testifying that facing justice is not a deviation from history, but part of it.
“at this crucial stage, the Democratic Party of Kosovo expresses its expectation and demand that the decision be fair, impartial and based exclusively on fact and evidence, away from any political dinar or perception. The struggle of the people of Kosovo for freedom was a fair, liberation and necessary for survival in the face of a oppressive regime. This is a historical truth known to our citizens and confirmed by the flow of international developments that led to NATO intervention and Kosovo's declaration of independence”, the PDK's response said.
The party, which the former president led, says believes in Hashim Thaci's innocence, Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, and on the exclusive basis of facts and evidence, will be made a fair and impartial decision, which will confirm the complete release from all points of the indictment.
“The Democratic Party of Kosovo re-exemplifies solidarity with the families of former KLA leaders, thanks to all citizens for the great support of witnessing through marches and protests, and expresses gratitude for the professionalism and space offered by the media throughout this period”. /Periscope
