Northern Macedonia captures the largest amount of cannabis ever, 28 tons

The police operation has been conducted in Skopje and in the southern town of Strumica, targeted the medical cannabis, which was not supposed to be used for its authorised purpose.

State television reported that the action was linked to a recent raid in Serbia, where five tonnes of cannabis were seized.

Serbian prosecutors said in a statement Monday that the cannabis found on a farm came from northern Macedonia. /Periscope
