Mitrovica anti-drug action prohibited by a person in arms and cocaine

Kosovo police have undertaken an anti-drug operation this Thursday in South Mitrovica.

According to the official announcement, during the action in the bus station parking lot, a suspected person was detained.

During the body control, three bags of suspected narcotic substance of total-weight cocaine 099 grams have been found.

In the meantime, search has also been carried out in the suspect's apartment, where a long automatic weapon with a clip containing 17 rounds of calibre 9que19 mm, as well as a pistol with an empty clip.

Suspected narcotics weapons and substances have been photographed, recorded and seized by the Regional Crimtechnics unit.

The suspect has been interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney appointed on official duty, and after the interview, with the State Prosecutor's decision, the same has been released in regular procedure.
