Konjufca in The Hague: What he's trying to do inside this court is distort history

Glauk Konjufca is standing in the Dutch capital today on the last day of judgment against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

“What is trying to happen within this court is distorting history, because even the basis on which this court was built, Dick Marty's report, came out the lie report”, he said.

Konjufca said that “these people have already received an unfair punishment, because the process lasted so long that I pretend and all pretend that basic human rights was violated”.

Konjufca said that according to international conventions and the Constitution of Kosovo, the person should be judged “at reasonable times”.

This right I think was violently violated because it's been five years and three months since these KLA leaders are kept isolated from their families and away from their country. And that's the first thing I want to say. So it's been a brutal violation of the right to reasonable judgment in time”, he said.

Konjufca called Special “Unethnic laws, which the focus was unjustly on the Kosovo Liberation Army”.

He said the war of the people of Kosovo was “fair, clean, protective”.

“has not been the purpose of this war attacking any other people. The only target of KLA uniforms was the Serbian police and army, the uniformed occupiers who committed genocide in Kosovo, killed children, killed women and killed elders, and killed over 12,000 citizens of our Republic. Against these people was the Kosovo Liberation Army war. And that truth can't change any court”, he said. /Periscopi/
