(5 months ago)KFOR has indicated that American aviation soldiers from the East Regional Command, part of the NATO mission, have conducted a joint exercise with members of the European Union's Mission for Rule of Law (EULEX) in Kosovo. “Training included extracting cranes, transporting waste and hot loading operations [...]
The training included extracting cranes, transporting waste and hot loading operations with a Black Hawk helicopter, increasing knowledge with aviation medical procedures and strengthening co-ordination among personnel”, KFOR report said.
“Such objectives are essential for improving interoperability and readiness, contributing to our mission to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo”KFOR has declared.
Moreover, KFOR has stressed the continuation of implementing its mandate, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244, to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all Kosovo citizens and to ensure freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR works closely with the Kosovo Police and the EULEX Mission to ensure common support in their respective roles as security response.
