Investigations of Epstein, Property Linked to Mandelson Checked

British police on Friday searched two properties linked to this country's former ambassador to America, Peter Mandelson, as part of an investigation stemming from his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein.

Deputy Assistant Metropolitan Police Commissioner Hayley Seweart said that “officers from the Metropoli Central Specialised Crime Team are in the process of carrying out control commands in two addresses, one in the Wiltshire area and another in the Camden area.

Mandelson, 72, has homes in Wiltshire in western England and in the Camden area of London, reports the Associated Press, broadcast Klankosova.tv.

The former cabinet minister, ambassador and late statesman of the ruling Labusist Party is being investigated for improper conduct possible in public office on documents, part of an Epstein file heap published in the United States, which suggests he has passed sensitive government information to Epstein a decade and a half ago.
