The departure of Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem from the post of chairman and executive director comes after recently released files showed the Emirates tycoon appears to have exchanged hundreds of emails with Epsthein over a decade, reports the BBC.
The reference to the file is not a sign of any violations, and the BBC has addressed Sulayem for a comment.
The DP World announced its resignation, “, which entered into force immediately” on Friday, naming Essa Kazim as chairman and Yuvraj Narayaan as executive director. A photo of Sulayem appears to have been removed from her website. /Periscope
