“Freedom has name” gets Ali Ahmeti's support for the February 17th march

The first visit was held with Ali Ahmeti, chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration, which was announced by representatives of the platform with the “Liria mission, has the name”, de-current activities and widespread civic mobilization for the Grand March “Justice, not the political”, which will be held on February 17th in Pristina, in defense of Kosovo deliverers being held unjustly in The Hague.

During the meeting, Ahmeti stressed the historic and national significance of this cause, underlining that justice for rescuers is part of the collective dignity of Albanians.

The liberation war of our people was just, necessary, and historically pure. Those who led and defended this war cannot be held hostage to political injustices. Their country is at home, near its families and people, and they must go back as soon as”, Ahmeti said.

The platform's representative, Eliza Hoxha, said the mobilization is increasing every day and that the February 17th march will be an expression of a powerful civic voice.

This march is against no one, but in defense of justice. We are building a great civic mobilization, both inside and outside Kosovo, because this is a cause that exceeds parties and borders”, Hoxha said.

Meanwhile, Ismail Tasholli pointed to the entire dimension of this call.

The Justice for Deliverers is a national matter. Support from Albanian activists and leaders in the region strengthens the message that this cause is shared and that the civic voice should be clearly heard in this final phase of the process at The Hague”, Tasholli said.

The “Liria platform has the name” that it will continue visits and meetings with political, social and Albanian communities in the region and the diaspora, calling for wide civic and nationwide mobilization for mass participation in March “Justice, not politics”, on February 17th in Pristina. /Periscope
