Croatian minister responds to Vuciki's complaints of Kosovo military co-operation- Albania -Croatia.

During the security conference in Munich, Anuspi met with the defence ministers of Albania and Kosovo, stressing that the Declaration of Defence Co-operation between them, adopted last year, “does not violate anyone”.

The statement we signed last year is implementing, working together, creating joint activities and technical support for the defence industry and the co-operation of our armed forces. There is absolutely nothing questionable in that statement, and we certainly are not threatening anyone with it. I have to stress this because, apparently, it's the number one topic in the regional media. We have new plans, new meetings and new activities even this year”, the Croatian Defence Minister said, according to the Croatian Defence Ministry's announcement.

Authorities in Belgrade view the military co-operation of Kosovo, Albania and Croatia as “directed against Serbia and the Serbian people”. Vuciqi often speaks of it, asking that “what a military alliance needs Croatia and Albania when they are already part of NATO”.

Responding to journalists' questions in Munich, Anussic stressed that Croatia engages in stability and strengthening NATO.

“NATO is the most powerful military alliance in the world and this alliance must survive this crisis. I sincerely hope he does. Croatia will commit to this happening”, Croatian Defence Minister Ivan Anuspi said.
