British MP Alicia Kearns has said the threat of conflict in the Balkans always remains present. These comments, Kearns, who is known for her involvement in Western Balkan affairs, were made to the Council of Europe during the past week, where she presented a report on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She said there she called on the international community to join and for a joint commitment “to a secure and stable Bosnia, strongly rooted in the European community, where it deserves to be”.

We in this country dare not let the Balkans out of sight. The threat of conflict always remains at hand”, she expressed during her speech.

Kearns asked that solutions be found for BiH to then pave the way to NATO. /Periscope

The three of the conflicts in the Balkans remain forever.
