case “Banjska” - The witness from Skopje says he heard gunshots without uniformed and armed people around the hotel.

Witness Tanevski, who was heard Wednesday through the video connection, said that on the critical day he was standing as a tourist at the “Ratjska Banja” in Banjska, reports “Justice Vowify“, broadcast Periscope.

He said the critical day had seen people who did not look like tourists, heard gunshots and no uniformed people around the hotel and another one standing in the hotel.

For the person they saw outside the hotel, the witness said he was wearing the uniform, there were ammunition and bombs.

We saw two men in uniform with no marks, no badges and military weapons, the one at the hotel could only see the gun that the uniform was not, because we were down the stairs. He was looking for a blanket or similar”, Tanevski said.

According to witness Tanevski, someone had asked you to stay in their rooms while confirming that this person's move was an obligation to return them to hotel rooms.

As far as staying at the hotel, witness Tanevski said they had planned to stay there with his family from Friday when they left until Sunday, but because of the events that happened there, they had left on Monday. He said he had trouble staying there.

After what happened, the first time we ate was Monday. On Sunday afternoon, there was a moment that even the water went out” said Tanevski.

The Witness Tanveski said that from that day on he decided never to come to Kosovo and still has the trauma of that day.

He claimed that when he remembers the event of September 24, 2023, he feels stress, uncertainty, and fear, stressing that he feels responsible for what his family experienced.

I decided from that day on never to come to Kosovo. What happened that day cannot be forgotten. I sent them there to rest, I felt responsible for what they experienced and what I experienced, and to this day when I remember what happened I felt stress, insecurity and fear”, Tanevski said.

Witness Tanevski said he was contacted by foreign affairs ministry officials who were instructed to go out and that Kosovo police were there where their official cars had left.

With the communication we had with the Foreign Ministry representatives, I was told to go outside because the Kosovo Police are waiting. We got out, we got raided, and then with their official cars they sent us”, Tanevski said.

Indictee Maksimovic's defender, lawyer Jovana Filipovic, stated that for one of the witnesses approved by the court, he has learned from his defender that he was previously heard in the quality of the suspect, so there are procedural obstacles to his hearing as witnesses.

In this situation, she asked the court to force the prosecution to confirm if he was previously heard as a suspect.

Later, the court took the ruling with which it imposed procuro naim Abazi that until the afternoon session explain whether the witness had the quality of the co-accused and whether he was involved in the prosecution's decision to start the investigation, regardless of the status the police have granted during interrogation.
