Through a Facebook post, Bajraktari points out that in the quality of an American citizen and representative of the Albanian-American community, he has expressed concern about the functioning of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, demanding greater commitment by the United States to ensure a fair and impartial process.
On paper, he specifically mentions former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders and state institutions, including Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, as well as others being held in custody at The Hague.
According to Bajraktar, the United States, as the historic ally of Kosovo, must play an active role to ensure that international standards of justice and human rights are fully respected during this process. /Periscope
