Adoption of The Hague Resolution, Gruda: Important Steps to Protect Deliverers

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Progress Gruda has expressed happiness in adopting the “The Hague Resolution”.

After the end of the Parliament's extraordinary session, Gruda said the adoption of this resolution is an important step to protect the rescuers being tried at The Hague.

I think it's good to be voted in this form. The text has affirmive language, protects our fair fight, extends the invitation for European standards of fair judgment and those of the Constitutional Kosovo to be protected, and I think it shouldn't divide us politically. I'm happy that almost everyone has voted for this resolution. It is a very important step to protect Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin and others at The Hague”, the deputy said before the media.

“Resoluta was drafted by a group of Kosovo University professors. It was deposited in the Kosovo Assembly in the form of a petition. All we've done, and other party colleagues, we've got that text and we've processed it in the Assembly to approve it. There could be no interference in a text authorship that we don't have, but the authorship of which was drafted by those professionals”.
